Make sure in your HTML a www should not be put in the line where it asks for YourDomain.com.
- Just wondering if you could change my counter file so I do not increment my counter via my own hits..?
It is already set to record ONLY UNIQUE hits, but each time you login with a new IP address it will record that ONE hit.
No, you cannot make it NOT record your UNIQUE hits.

We do not support counters on parked domains.
- How do I reset my counter ?
We do not allow the counters to be reset.
- Can you do all this counter stuff for me?
No, you will need to consult an experienced html programmer/webmaster to do this.

Yes, of course.... but, you will need to consult an experienced html programmer/webmaster to do this :)
- I'm interested in the ability to check how many hits my site has received, but I do not want this information displayed on the site itself as a counter. What is the best way to do this?
Unfortunately, our counters that come standard with the site CANNOT do this.
But, there are many that can.
Please go to www.freecode.com or cgi-resources.com for FREE COUNTERS that may be able to do this.

To delete your counter, just go to the html file and REMOVE the code from your page...
THAT'S IT :)
- I installed one of your hit counters but can not seem to get it to record more than three hits. any ideas?
The counter only records UNIQUE hits. Meaning if you hit the refresh button, it will not keep recording the hits. Only actual different people hitting your site will be recorded :)
- How do I add a counter USING FRONT PAGE ?
First you should consult your Front Page manual, as we do not provide third party programming assistance... BUT, a quick overview is below :)
To add a counter to your page using FP,
While in the page editor, with a page open, IN NORMAL VIEW...
CLICK Insert
Choose Component
Choose Counter
This will bring up an easy to follow MENU.
WARNING!!!
You cannot simply view the source code, and cut and paste the counter created by FP into another page... it will not work properly.
- I don't like the counter that is provided in my control panel... what can I do ?
There are many FREE counters available to you throughout the internet.
BUT, remember, that they make take more programming experience than ours require. Ours are very simple, just cut and paste the code into your website... while others may require you to do some perl INSTALLATION, etc...
Here are some places you could find FREE COUNTERS:
www.FreeCode.com
www.SuperScripts.com
www.cgi-Resources.com
- How do I add a counter to my webpage ?
