  2. I entered the file manager today and I uploaded a couple of gifs. Generally, at other places, even though you did upload gifs, you still had a clickable image so as that I could see them. I cannot click on these links. How come? I want to add them to the page?

I thought I was successful, because the next time I logged in I was able to use the new password, but then it kept asking me for a password anytime I clicked on an icon on the control panel. And now when I try, I can't log in at all using the new or old password, can you please help? If you could just reset all the passwords that would be great so I could start over.

    Go to your control panel by entering the following into the command line of your browser and press ENTER:
    your_IP_address/menu

    or www.yourdomainname.com/menu

    Well, lets say you uploaded them to your directory called:
    images
    So, your gifs are now located at:
    /home/username/doaminname-www/images
    AND, they can be looked at in the following manner on the web:
    http://domainname.com/images/

    So, to add them to your page, you would simply link them to their absolute path at:

    e.g.
    http://domainname.com/images/gif1.gif

    This is very easy.
    From Site Creation Tool>
    CLICK ON> Upload/Import
    Then Upload A File From Your PC
    AFTER you have uploaded it, go back to the:
    Site Editor
    AND click on the page you want to edit,
    NOW CLICK ON> Bkgrnd Image
    And, now under Navigate:
    CLICK on the TOP LEVEL Directory, usually called:
    Images/
    this will change the drop down menu options, and now select:
    Uploads/
    FROM the drop down menu...
    now, you will be able to select your IMAGE.

    The only way peoples passwords can be changed is by logging into control panel :)

    In order to allow your website visitors to use WebGlimpse as part of your site...
    YOU WIll have to simply link to the search engine.

    No, you would not be able to do this.
    The script is NOT configurable.

    Actually, your password for FTP WILL change when you change your password via your control panel.
    THE ONLY WAY to change the password for FP, is to UNINSTALL FP from your control panel, and then reinstall it THUS setting the password to your current password :)

    MOST likely, you tried to SET your password incorrectly.. such as too many characters, etc.

    This is needed because the email address on your account is the main point of contact we will use when sending out passwords, etc.

    It is also NOT advised to change your email address to an address in your domain. In other words it is best to keep it an off-network address.
