Answers:
  1. Why are my files in 2 directories, domainname-www and www ?
It is just a system thing.

All of your web files MUST BE PLACED INSIDE
    your main web directory: domainname-www

  2. Can I mirror a domain to my main domain ?
    Absolutely. It is called:
    Domain Parking.

  3. I was wondering whether i could add more domains to one account.. you know like have an additional domain point to a seperate directory.. except with cloaking effect, to give people the illusion that they are in another site and not in a sub-directory?
In this case send us an e-mail to contact@x-mb.com

No, they will be able to access the index.htm file located in the folder called help
    as:
    www.mypage.com/help
    or
    www.mypage.com/help/

  5. When I purchase an account, for www.myname.com and somebody types in www.myname.com will they see www.myname.com or your sever address in the location window?
    They will see www.myname.com

  6. I have uploaded my index.html file onto the required folder and I still cannot see my page loading. In fact, the browser is still not able to locate my domain at all.
Try using the IP address, your domain name may not have propogated yet.

  7. Is it possible to have a domain that points to a directory already in my current account, rather than being charged for an entirely new account?
In this case send us an e-mail to contact@x-mb.com

  8. How do I get a free domain name. Is a free domain name the same as a free account with your comp
When you pay your account in full
we will register a free domain name for you.

  9. How can I add subdomains to my domain (i.e. mypantsareonfire.evaporated.org)
Simple, you just go to www.x-mb.com and order a new account.
We treat all subdomains as normal accounts with their own IP, etc :)

  10. Do you provide personalized nameservers ?
    No, we do not :)

  11. Hello, I was simply wondering if you could host two domain names on one account with both names pointing to the same IP.
Yes, that is called DOMAIN PARKING... where both domains work exactly the same... in other words, you will have:
    domain.com
    and
    domain2.com

and they will be exactly the same:
    domain.com/home/
    will be the same as
    domain2.com/home/

  12. My friend signed up with your service a couple of weeks ago. When I go to Network Solutions and do a WhoIs lookup on her domain, I noticed that she is not listed as the owner of the domain name, nor is she the administrative contact. How is she supposed to administrate her account if she is not the legal owner of the domain name? Who owns the domain name, her or you?
By default, we register domain names in our name. If you want the Registrant info changed to your info, simply send us an e-mail with the info you want it changed to :)
As long as you are a client, you own the domain name. If you decide to stop hosting with us, then, in order to keep the domain name, you will have to start paying us the annual registration fees from that point on.

  13. Hi is it possible to have two separate sites on your server? How do I link to the second sites "index page"?, since I already have index page. Can I have 2 index pages? Thank you
Simple, you will need to order an additional domain for your account.

  14. Some hosting services allow multiple www.yourname.com names for the same price. Such as: "host up to 3 or 5 domain names for $30.00 per month", Do you offer this type of service ?
No, we do not - our packege includes one domaIname -  BUT YOU CAN BUY ADDITIONAL domains...

  15. Domain name created and updated on the first, but today, on the 4th it is still not activated. Why?
Once in a GREAT while, a domain name will not AUTOMATICALLY PROPOGATE. So, you simply need to send us an e-mail to contact@x-mb.com

  16. I ordered www.mydomain.com and you gave me domain.com WITHOUT THE www ?
Our systems treat both www.domain.com and domain.com THE SAME. So, with or without the www, it will work the same. This is one of the wonderful benefits to hosting with us:
No matter what someone types in going to your site, with or without the www, they WILL get to your site!

  17. I just signed up last night, my domain name still does not work when I type in www.mydomain.com ... HELP ?
Did you pay for your ACCOUNT in full ?
Your domain name will not work UNTIL your account is fully paid.
If your account is fully paid, and your domain is still not working within 24-48 hours, simply send an e-mail to contact@x-mb.com
    2.
Is this a domain name transfer (Is your domain already registered somewhere else) ?
If it is, it will not work UNTIL the domain is pointed/transferred to us.

  18. I need my domain name transferred to you, what do I do ?
    Contact your registrar (e.g. networksolutions.com, nic.at, etc.)
    or your former hosting-provider

  19. Will you TRANSFER/REPOINT my domain for me ?
    Currently not.

Although we can HOST ANY domain from ANY REGISTRAR, we can ONLY assist with the transfer of domains registered through us.
IF YOUR DOMAIN was not registered via us, then simply contact your registrar (e.g. networksolutions.com, nic.at, etc.)
or your former hosting-provider and ask them how to TRANSFER/REPOINT your domain name to our NAMESERVERS:

  20. I need to transfer my domain from my existing web hosting company to you.
For this you will need our nameserver information.

  21. I cannot access my domain name... it says no access ?
One of the possibilites is that you owe NETWORKSOLUTIONS.com renewal fees on your domain name.
You can check this easily by going here:
    https://payments.networksolutions.com/

and place your domain name in the box, after click submit, if it shows a payment due, then that is the problem. Pay for your domain, and your domain will work again :)

If not, please check our FAQs for more Q And A.

  22. How do I get a subdomain (client.mydomain.com) ?
Simple, you just go to www.x-mb.com and order a new account.
We treat all subdomains as normal accounts with their own IP, etc :)
